Mom's Out of the Hospital

Mom's out of the hospital according to my sister. Hopefully I'll get to see her this weekend, since I was on "stay away status" due to my cold.

Selling Art!

In our upstairs hallway, there's been a painting of irises hanging for over a year now. It finally sold, and the Professor has more commissioned work from the buyer! Yay!

Mom's In the Hospital

Well, my mom went in for hip replacement surgery on Monday. She sounds in good spirits, but it could also be the Jim Morrison level of narcotics they keep her doped up on. The operation was seemingly successful, and she's hoping to be out tomorrow.
