Fatherhood: Been Busy

After 25 hours of damaging labor, Corwin Alexander Babb was born April 9th at 3:14, via C-section. He weighed just under 7 pounds, and measured 19 inches. Maryanne's been recovering well, and it turned out that Corwin's cord was wrapped around his neck. At first Maryanne was having problems producing milk for him (60 hours of forced fasting and surgery will do that), and Corwin's weight went down. But now it's going back up and he's doing fine.

Fatherhood: ER Visit

Took Maryanne to the hospital for high blood pressure (I think it hit 180/100 at one point, and I saw it in the 160's on multiple occassions). It sounds like they're waiting for her to dilate some more before they induce, and have put her on bed rest. Otherwise, she's doing good it seems.

Funky Friday

Funky Friday - "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Bad News. I saw this version on MTV long before I ever heard the original. And for those keeping score, they came out the same time as "This Is Spinal Tap", but didn't get as much circulation or fame. And yes, that's two of the members of the Young Ones in the band, in character.
