Lost: Season Two, 10 reasons why it sucks (SPOILERS)

Okay. I liked the first season of Lost. But the second is just not doing it for me. It leaves too many unanswered questions. And I don't mean plot questions like "who is the Dharma Initiative" or "what's inside the doomsday weapon". I mean common sense questions, like the following 10.
  1. What happened to the Frenchwoman, Rousseau? She could survive on her own, but she also seemed to be interested in joing the group of survivors.
  2. What happened to the Irishman in the bunker? He fled fearing an explosion that never came, so why didn't he come back?
  3. What happened to the plague scare? The Frenchwoman spoke of a plague, and the bunker seemed to be sealed against it, so why don't the survivors ever mention it?
  4. Why didn't the survivors form a militia already? They know the Others are out there, and are a threat, so why did they wait so long?
  5. Why don't they talk more openly about the weirdness? Jack saw his dead father, Kate saw a black horse, Charlie saw all kinds of things, and everybody keeps seeing Walt and hearing whispers. They know they're seeing things and hearing things, so why aren't they doing something, anything, about it?
  6. Are they even thinking about trying to get off the island any more?
  7. Remember when Locke seemed to be touched by the island? He was paralyzed but could walk. He was able to keep the group going and survive. Now he just seems like a grouchy old man who doesn't do anything.
  8. Michael finds a computer, discovers it is transmitting a signal somewhere else, and decides he alone can handle the guys who nearly killed him, Sawyer, and Jin, and stole his son. He doesn't bother to talk to Sayid, despite knowing of his expertise in communications equipment, or seek help from Locke or Jack.
  9. What happened to the dog? Did they eat it, or just throw it on Shannon's funeral pyre?
  10. Why aren't they exploring the island looking for anything any more? They got in one bunker filled with stuff, and know where a second to explore is. They also know there're other bunkers out there. If it's because they're too afraid of the Others, then see #4 above.
If Season 2 doesn't explain most of these questions to my satisfaction, I doubt I'll be able to keep my intrest for Season 3.
