An interesting, if too short, weekend.

Maryanne's been working with plants in the sunroom, so Saturday was basically just a day of potting and replanting and buying pots and plants.

Saturday we went to Shogun in Rogers with her family, my first time visiting the "Japanese" resteraunt. Fried rice and grilled meats and veggies didn't seem very Japanese to me. That said the food was very yummy. What was more interesting was the show put on the chef. He joked around, set stuff on fire, and made a performance of his food preperation. The wait staff was very good as well, slipping in and out almost unnoticed. The bill wasn't as bad as I'd always feared either, well worth the small difference over a place like Chili's or Colton's. Of course, after dinner was over, I rushed ---- back to ---- place so ---- could beat the bathroom rush. It didn't hit me so hard, but most people had... angry stomachs afterwards.

Later Saturday night I also broke my previous time record, running a mile in 13 minutes and 51 seconds. My current goal is to get down to a 10 minute mile.
