Ch- ch- ch- changes

Somebody's cocky today.

With reason.

After putting up with illegal copying of her artwork, getting paid less than the guy she trained who doesn't have a degree, working off the clock during her lunch breaks because she had no back up, and generally being made to feel unappreciated and taken advantage of, Maryanne got a new job.

She told her boss she had an offer she was considering, and his only response was "are you sure that's what you want to do?" No counter-offer. No eloquent discussions of how he can make things better to keep her. So, he'll be needing to replace a printer, a manager, and a graphic artist in short order. And he'll have to pay them $13.10 an hour, total, to make it worth losing her. I figure he won't -really- be shitting himself until he realizes just how much business was growing at Maryanne's office, and how much he'll lose when her customers leave with her.

Good luck, moron!

At the new job it sounds like Maryanne will be doing basically the same stuff she does, at basically the same pay to start, only in the printer/graphic artist sense, and with t-shirts instead of business cards. And she'll be getting better leave benefits.

Heck, she'll be getting lunch breaks.

One last note.... Since she no longer needs to drive to Bentonville, we're talking about moving down Fayetteville way.

Comments:
Well that's cool. Glad to hear it.
