Michael Jackson

Shanna called me up wanting to talk about the death of Michael Jackson. To be honest, to me the guy died years ago. But, for her benefit I'll talk about his last mini-film/music video collection, "Ghosts". While more internally consistent than Moonwalker ("look out Michael, Joe Pesci and his drug-dealing elite soldiers are after you! Quick, do a 1920's dancehall bit and then turn into a sportscar/robot/spaceship!") but was downright creepy.

Basically an evil white man wants to tear down the haunted house at the end of the street all the local boys like to play in. So they all go to tear the house down, only to be confronted by a shape changing Michael Jackson. And through a series of dances and CGI, the kids express their love for Michael and the parents like him too.

I'm probably reading a lot more into it than I should, but I'll let you decide. Michael Jackson's "Ghosts".

Comments:
You know, I think you are right on with what you are "reading into" abou this. It would be interesting to know which of the "white evil men" in Jackson's life, does this character resemble.
